Clicking on this link will kill the X server
Remote exploit As far as I know, it doesn't do any other damage. It's likely that the remote root exploit described Here also applies to the FreeBSD driver. |

The Beta version of the nvidia driver fixes this (at least it fixes the exploit that crashes the nividia driver in the link marked "Remote Exploit").
The version is 9625 (not yet in the Ports system, but you can download it and type 'make install' to install it). It seems stable, so far. It STILL doesn't detect my video RAM correctly (reporting 32 meg rather than 128 meg. ![]() |
