Is there a way to disable the need to click on flash before you can use it? Kinda annoying to have to double click my way through sites like Homestarruner.com.

Probably some security option. Have you tried adding the site to your trusted zone? (If you trust it of course..)

Trusted zone has Medium security rather than Medium-high of the Internet zone. Maybe Medium security will let you use flash without clicking on it first?

Nope no dice there. I will google some more. Someone is bound to find a way to disable it now the final is out.

EDIT: Would appear there is nothing us end users can do?

Tabmix Plus for FF saves all current session data. So crashes or power outages are not an issue. You can even close the browser and continue where you left off. Now I guess all you need to do is try something like that with IE, as FF has it covered.
