Where are these benchies from?!? And why didn't they run them at teh same settings. And why on earth would you run the 8800GTX at 1280x1024????!?!?!? I would think that would be hugely CPU limited...

Its from 3DMark06 quoted from here :
http://we.pcinlife.com/thread-641408-1-1.html

at default 3dmark06 runs @1280x1024 , the XTX CF benchies where @1600x1200.

it seems to me that a 8800GTX is as good as dual X1950XTX cards in SM2.0 (or even a little better) , but somewhat worse with SM3.0/HDR. kinda not what i really expected

i didnt include the QuadSLI numbers because they were obviously less than the X1950XTX CF.

Considering how immature the drivers are for that card right now, I wouldn't worry about any of these benchmark #'s.

On a side note, I can't stop looking at the damn thing. I need help.

On another side note, Freddie Krueger needs to cut his nails.

That is all.

Yep .. i too hope these are just beta drivers & the SM3.0/HDR numbers will be getting better.

Yes, you would need a licensed version of 3DMark06 to change the resolution. I think actual gaming benchmarks will be more useful though..
