Damn beat me to it
What I really want to know is how the GTS is gonna do. I just re-enlisted and I have some cash coming for the bonus. Plan on getting a Gigabyte DS3 with a 6600(haven't figured out what kind of ram yet) as well as an HDTV. I don't want to get a 8800GTX because it's just too expensive, plus the cost of a whole new power supply. The GTS is in the realm of possibilities though.![]() |

With SM2.0 2496 and SM3.0 2903 currently, this looks to be a worthy upgrade. I hope SLI is not needed to to get at least 1152x864 4xAA in Crysis though....

Wow... some awesome scores!
I'm more curious about in-game results though. We've got 3DMark05 and 06 results, how about some FEAR, Oblivion, HL2: LC and EP1, FarCry, Prey, etc. Bring on the game results!!! ![]() |

Another thing i noticed with these scores that G80 is doing better on SM3.0/HDR than SM2.0 (just like the X1900 series) , unlike the GF7 series which used to get higher SM2.0 scores.
i guess its the right move from nvidia as SM3.0/HDR is being involved more & more into the new & next gen games.
