Yeah, I wish there was a pic of the back of the retail boxes since they usually promote all the new features, etc. Maybe that would shed some light on it.

That is probably why we don't have such pics.

Very impressive and looks ready to roll! If these scores are correct on early drivers, WOW! This is truely awesome!

Do you guys think my Antec 480 watt Neopower will run an 8800GTX, or should I upgrade to a 550?

Do you happen to know the specs on how much amps it needs?

For the GTX, probably at least 15A. Is that neopower you have a dual-rail PSU?

Yes, dual rail. 18A on +12V1 and 15A on +12V2.

Well I hate to break the news to you, but your PSU may not be enough. 12v1 is usually dedicated to nothing but the processor. And your 12v2 is going to be sharing the amps with your motherboard, memory, hard disks, optical drives, case fans, led's(if you have them), sound card, and your graphics card.

I'd say the GTS might be a possibility on that PSU, but even that is pushing it, I think.

I have a 550W Antec TruePowerII in my X2 system right now with 19A on two 12v rails running a 7900GTX, and there's no way I'd try running a G80 on it. It's pushing it as it is.

I'd say there are a couple of ways you could go from here. One would be the FSP Booster 250W drive bay PSU. It would power a GTX by itself. I think they go for around 85$. Or, you could go with a good mid-range PSU that's in the 550-600W range and has a good chunk of amps on a single 12v rail. Or, you could go with a high-end PSU like Redeemed has--the 700W GameXstream quad-rail. Or, if you want the uber-high PSU you could go with something like I have (Silverstone Zeus 850W), jakup has (PCP&C 1000W), or sabersix has (Enermax Galaxy 1000W).

You should be fine. Quad-rail setup and nice amps on all 4. If you do purchase a GTX and have problems, try re-arranging the connectors. But you should be fine running a single GTX on that PSU.
