Hm not so sure about this after the IGN review http://pc.ign.com/articles/741/741488p2.html

They say its extremeley short and has a poor story and the environemnts too much the same in original Fear.

I'm probably going to pick up my copy Friday. If not then, sometime this weekend.

And, unlike somebody here, I will put up screenies for ya'll if nobody else has.

Sorry for lack of pics. I stopped playing once I realized a whoopin huge dead pixel on my new monitor! Not very happy, but thanks to the 30 day 0 dead pixel warranty I'll have a new one ASAP Till then I have a 19inch loaner, which isn't too bad at all.

I didn't even notice it at first, but once I did it stuck out like a sore thumb in FEARs dark environments.

Well, totally loving it. Bestbuy $24.99 I got an insert with the key lists on it. I do need to stock up on cd cases, lame but it seems to be the norm these days. I think they packed a little something extra into the engine the lighting looks a little better to me, my frame rates are also down a bit from what I saw in fear and in the demo 92.91, MaX settings 2aa/16af and 1920x1440 isn't as smooth. 1600x1200 keeps me around 60-72 w/vsnyc. There's also allot more space and in game assets than fear and morel physics it seem, sooo.
I tried not to spoil anything in the shots there's some great surprises, so far it's an awesome addition. Enjoy.

Edit: And one for show that should have been 2048x1536 (does fraps limit to 16x12? It cut off part of the pic) 4aa/16af G/TansAA + SS.

Online Manual too!

What would have been nice is a CD case that could have held the FEARs DVD plus the expansions CDs. Like what they did with one of the NWN Expansions.

Whoever made the FEAR cover art here last time, can you do a Extraction Point cover too? Pretty Please?
