Old program, New uses

I had this little program floating around and had an idea. What if I posted this and used it to transmit small files via the attachment option.

It is useful for chunking files to send on disk or in little parts for wide distribution and reasembling them on the other end.

to run it change the extension from .zip to .exe

This program is small enough to be attached to a post.

And it then can be used to break up and rebuild files that I may post fragments of later.

Rename it to split.exe.

I just found out it was an exe..... I love Norton Commander.... I see the MZ beginning, "an exe" I realize.

But it's ugly DOS! There are newer programs. Like Hacha, a spanish one.

BTW, Norton Commander 5.0 also does this.

Like Madthumbs said Winrar is a better solution. Just use it to make rar volumes instead of this old program.

I don't have Winrar, this is the best I could find.

If I could get a free version(NOT warez), I could use it. /shrug
