Hmm... I've only been able to kill anything in one shot if it hadn't seen me yet.

I guess I'll have to keep trying that.

The spiders are beyond irritating though. I found the best way to deal with them at this point is to just circle strafe them while doing a fast flurry of attacks with a sword, but when there a bunch of them in an enclosed area that can be pretty hard.

For spiders I just use my Firesword and a power attack sideswipe. It usually kills them in a hit or two at max.

I don't have enough strength to use mine yet since I'm doing magic and fighting. Thats what I'm trying to focus on now though.

[quote=CaptNKILL]I did notice a lot of graphical glitches though. I don't know if its just related to the premature drivers on my 8800, but I've seen at least one or two flashing\discolored\disappearing objects in pretty much every scene I've been in. /QUOTE]

I had the same problem. I found that after quitting the game was defaulting to Medium Detail Graphic effects, setting back to high fixed any glitches I had, particularly with the Lightning Shield.

A bug, but I heard it was fixed with the first patch. If it isnīt check the tweakguide, there is a way you can force the "high" setting with a command in the autoexec file.

How did you get a fire sword? That is where I'm at, the spiders! Those things creep me out like there's no tomorrow (I'm extremely afraid of spiders ).

Oh, and CaptNKILL, if you are referring to discoloration of objects, are you referring to certain objects turning blue?

Anyhow, a few screenshots. These are at 1600x1200, 16xAA, 16xAF, all in game options maxed, and AA/AF settings forced in CP. Oh, and Gamma Corrected and Transparency AA are enabled.

And CaptNKILL, by the discoloration- did it look something like this?

I'll post a few more later when I get in from work. I should be home around 1:30AM- so I'll have a few hours to play this game.

Na I know thats normal, Arx Fatalis had that too. I get a lot of other strange graphical errors on objects though.

One thing that is kind of weird about the blue objects is that it happens on some objects that don't really have any purpose. I've seen some fallen statues laying around that turn blue some times. I can push them around but I don't think they break, and they are too big to pick up or use for anything. I don't know why they are highlighted.

You encounter spiders a few times. I don't think you get a fire sword until later on.
