Gothic 3 already has like a 50mb patch

I'm kinda worried. There are a lot of people complaining of crashes and HDR bugs. I hope I'm one of the lucky few.

Just played for over an hour and I'm certainly liking it. No crashes, almost zero stuttering (just for a split second while saving every once in a while), and lighting looks just fine to me. Am I playing some other game than the rest of you?

I think I am on like... Chapter 8 or 9 now... the game is fun... just wish they would have used a different engine... the stuttering and horrible load times are pretty annoying... but I like the game. Forging your own weapons is kind of cool (only have made 2 different swords, not sure if you can make others).

The most significant bug I've gotten so far is a single ctd while loading up chapter 4, the second attempt loaded it just fine. I'm having quite a good time so far and it runs buttery smooth for me.

I think I'm just going to wait until they get it in the store or someone else gets a better price on it. I wont have time to play it this week anyway... and then I most likely will have my 7950 on ebay so I can get a G80. So I might as well just hold off until then.
i skipped the LE, that extra content (weapons) or what ever they got, can be downloaded

i also had some horrible load times

at one point it started to load, i'm waiting waiting, so i deceided to take my dog for a walk, i come back after 15-20 minutes, its still on the same screen

Yeah, I'm starting to think it might not be worth it.

I could save myself $20 and probably some time if I just went with the standard edition from GoGamer.com.

I think I'll just order it now...
