A couple weeks later I saw that someone on the Arx forums had released an updated set of textures that worked fine. I have them saved somewhere on my PC but I know they're still on the internet somewhere. I'll go find a link.  BTW, there might be some high-res texture packs for this too. I remember resizing textures to double their normal size and then adding noise filters to them just to see if it'd make them more detailed and it actually worked. I guess the game uses the textures no matter how big they are as long as they are the right proportions. EDIT: Here you go. I guess the community support for this game has been pretty lacking over the years.

Man, This game ROCKS! Its probably one of the best FPS titles in a LONG time.
I was able to play it at 1920x1080 but the FPS dipped to low for my liking... so I switched to 1600x1024 and it runs smooth. I haven't gotten any sound stuttering or long load times either... the game loads quicker then any other Source based game for me (DODS takes FOREVER sometimes). I can see why performance is low though, the game looks amazing at times. Some shots...     |

If you disable visual themes in the properties options when right clicking the mm.exe it should fix most issues aswell.

another anoying issue
when i change volume using the keyboard dial, cinematics skips, i had to restart a level once, to see the damn movie. suprising they didn't catch this. a volume dial shouldn't work as normal key

I went to local BestBuy to look for Limited Edition and they're all sold out.
 I went to Gamestop and they're said they hasn't arrived so last store I went was Circuit City, they had no copies.So I txt msged my brother since he's going to his local BestBuy today and asked if he'd grab other copy for me if they have some in stock. It appears they do have them in the back, AND he got two for $49 each (not $59)! Whoo, I'm going to visit him and my family this weekend. Hopefully I don't experience any problems some of you guys experienced. This game looks awesome.

Gamespot crapped all over it with a 6.7.
