Is there a reason fraps doesn't work in this game? Do I need to update it?

Anyone else trying to play a stealth character? I love sneaking up on people... only thing that pissed me off was that Spiders kicked my ass so I had to learn Heal Spell just to survive them.

I'm more of the warrior type at the moment. I plan on going either more stealth or magic on my second play through.

I'm playing stealth. Only up to Ch. 5 at the moment. Since i found the Bow of DiscipleDOC I've found it great fun taking out most enemies at range. Only had a chance to backstab a few times so far...

Oh I found the soundtrack too

I've only had a taste so far, but it's running smooth not bugs except of one bit at the start where the game would stutter extremely badly when looking through some grating. Really strange. Other than that, My Game of the Year.

I've given up on playing this game temporarily until a patch comes along or I get a better rig. It stutters, and I'm fine with that because I acknowledge that my rig is not up-to-date and my dependence on the 1280*1024 resolution (LCD) doesn't make it any better, and the sound stutter is absolutely horrific, and these things I can somehow come to accept, but seriously it crashes every 5-10 minutes and that's not the game experience I'm looking for

Sure I could drop down to, say 1024*768 and play on mixed medium/low settings (I've already disabled HDR of course), but then I'd rather save the experience for some point later. I'll give it a go next time I reformat, but I'm not having high hopes

I bought the game yesterday and I must say its great, much more then I expected, never played the DEMO.

On the rig in my sig I'm running 1920x1200 every thing on high, no AA/16AF, HDR on and it plays very smooth, no sound studders, no crashing. I'll have to run a FPS counter to see what I'm getting but its smooth.

The combat system is a blast.

I'll report back if I encounter any problems like some seem to be having, but for me so far so good, oh ya on 92.91 drivers.

Played this game for a while last night and so far I think it is an awesome game. Since it is a source based game it has the look and feel of HL2 which IMO is a good thing. If you like HL2 I think you will like this game too.

All the reviews I've seen say the MP is really poor. That's a shame, since the game's setting really set up some great possibilities, especially with the Source Engine.
