Default FC6 x86_64 9625 & 9625

I installed 9625 last week fine w/ the pre-release of FC6
now I can't install it
so I tried 9626, and it won't install either.

my install log:

No need to be rude

And yeah, needcaffeine, basically you need to extract the .run and remove the include (or fake a config.h into your /usr/src/kernels/`uname -r`/include or /usr/include). See details in the other threads about the issue.

I have found this:
Code:

+++ nv-linux.h2 2006-10-06 23:33:14.000000000 -0400
@@ -14,7 +14,7 @@

 #include "nv.h"

-#include <linux/config.h>
+#include <linux/autoconf.h>
 #include <linux/version.h>
 #include <linux/utsname.h>
This results in a tainted kernel / kernel panic. Any help is appreciated.

Better way is to create symlink linux/autoconf.h -> linux/config.h in your kernel sources

The way it worked for me was to comment out the line which read #include <Linux/config.h> in usr/src/nv/nv-linux.h:

Code:
/* #include <linux/config.h> */
That works just fine here, FC6 x86_64.

Thats really strange, i will try the symlink tomarow. Maby my download was corrupt or something strange. I verified my os was downloaded correctly but not the nvidia driver.

But im guessing that wont fix it because i tryed the beta and the stable drivers.

Downloads are ok, you must add symlink by your own.

No, all you need is the kernel-devel RPM that corresponds with the kernel that you're running.
