It's actually VERY different from the aurora engine. I followed the development for a while, and I remember they were just going to modify the aurora engine at first, but they actually scrapped that idea and created a new DX9 engine from scratch.

I'm sure they borrowed a lot of D&D code from the aurora engine, but as far as graphics are concerned the two engines are VERY different.

Disabling things like bloom and shadows will gain me about 5 FPS each but everything else does nothing.

Gaming at 1440x900 widescreen. No AA or AS set.

Heavens, thats some horrible results for such a strong rig. Surely there is something we are missing here. Keep us posted. I'm interested in getting this game but my rig is moderately similar to yours, so I'm scratching my chin wondering if I should get it.

Ive only used this once.

Let me re-enable it and see what happens. What should the bar be doing?

Some images.

those screenshots look beautiful. I'll probably pick this one up after Christmas when I have my G80 rig built.

I don't have v-sync enabled in either global settings or the profile.

Going into the game I don't even see a option for v-sync.

Edit: Ok, going into the .ini I found how to enable v-sync but it is set to 0 by default so I guess thats not the problem.

More shots of the overhead view which is the way I am playing it.

if you can't se load balancer and v-sync is off, then your profile is either not set up correctly, or sli isn't working

test a different game, to see if load balancer shows, make sure v-sync is off

It seems like many games fix SLI compatability issues when their first patch comes out...

Ok. I FORCED v-sync OFF in the profile and I got the load balancer to show up.

The green area stays pretty small in the middle of the screen and will grow up and down as the screen gets less clutered with objects.

When my FPS go up the green area grows and as my fps go down it gets smaller.

Is this right? Not even sure what it means when the green part is small or large. :P
