Fedora Core 6: How can I get fullscreen video using twinview?
I'm trying to set up my fc6 system to play videos on my HDTV. I've installed the latest nvidia beta drivers (9626) and I've setup twinview to recognize my HDTV as a clone screen. But I can't figure out how to get videos to automatically play full screen on the HDTV regardless of what I'm doing on screen 1 (lcd monitor).
As a workaround, I have set the hdtv up as a clone monitor and centered it manually, but the different resolution (1280x720 - hdtv, 1280x1024 - lcd) means I'm losing the top and bottom of the screen on the hdtv. This isn't a huge problem if I'm watching widescreen videos, but I wish there was a way to make the HDTV adjust to the native resolution of the video.
zenith hdtv via DVI
Any help at all is appreciated.
