I have an error concerning the module extmod which perhaps charged. In /usr/lib/xorg/modules/ libextmod.so does not exist!

finally when I launch beryl it answers me:

Does this problem only exist with Beryl?
Was this problem present with 1.0-8776 as well?

Additionally, please generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.

apparement only with beryl. but I cannot which software use to see whether I can have the same error. before I had driver 1.0.8776 which functioned well and I did not have an error message relating to extmod. On the other hand I had xgl with compiz which went very well.

Only drivers with implemented GL_EXT_texture_from_pixmap will work with AIGLX, currentyly only beta(9625) drivers has it.

You can always try Xgl, it uses mesa extensions.

yes I knew that. But the post of Lonni confused me.
Since you are using Edgy and AIGLX (I suppose)+Beryl and he ask you If the problem still exist with 8776.
But if you use 8776 you can't use AIGLX + beryl at all, how can you test it?
