Default What's the equivalent modeline for "TVStandard" "HD1080i"

I have a Panasonic CRT based rear projection TV that works perfectly on a component cable using "TVStandard" "HD1080i", but I can't get it to sync up to any of the various 1080i modelines using its DVI connector. I can get any and all of the 1080i modelines to validate, but the Tv will only display them when I'm using component. I have verified that my TV is designed to accept 1080i over DVI. Are the modelines I'm trying THAT far off from what the card decides to use when it knows it's connected to a TV?

Incidentally, I've gotten some of these modelines to work using the Ubuntu .deb of the 8774 drivers using the same xorg.conf and hardware. I haven't found a version of the .run package that works, however.

I'm running Kubuntu Edgy and the reason I can't use 8774 is the "black screen at 1080i with mythtv and xv" bug.

Please help. The machine is running headless right now and recording one of my favorite shows, so I can't do a bug report at the moment.

First post your bugreport with logverbose 6.
Also, it depends on whether you are in a 50Hz or 60Hz country.
