Default Linux 'top' for NVidia GPU's?

Hey all

Is there a utility that I can use to see how busy the GPU is?

Some background. We're evaluting how well our xw9300 workstations with Quadro FX4500 cards perform as backend grahics servers. Specifically we're looking at using a few of these 'backend' remote graphics servers using TurboVNC. We've reached a point where the box is starting to chug rendering a 2g sub surface module while doing spin animation. We need to see if the bottleneck is workstation itself or the GPUs. We haven't tried SLI as yet but we probably will at some point.

Thanks

Oops. Forgot to mention we'd like to see:
- how busy the GPU(s) is/are
- how much memory used
- anything else useful

Just doing some reading, the file User_guide_NVPerfKit.pdf only listes system requirements for Windows, Linux is supported right?

Also, the list of supported GPUs is quite small:
GeForce 7800 GTX 512
GeForce 7800 GTX
GeForce 6800 Ultra
GeForce 6800 GT
GeForce 6600
Are the Quadro FX4500 and FX5500 in this mix?

Thanks
