The most recent version of NForce drivers on the nvidia website seems to lack the intel8x0.c source file. I've looked throughout that zip file, and do not see this file anywhere. I'm attempting to get AC3 passthrough working with mplayer / xine, and it just does not want to happen. I was hoping an updated driver from nvidia might help my problem.
I'm running gentoo with the alsa drivers installed. |

intel8x0.c isn't written or maintained by NVIDIA.
