Before I buy the game I thought I ask you guys,
Is this game like pure RTS? Anyone played Soldiers Heroes of WWII by Codemasters? Is COH like that game? i dont like RTS so i just wanted to make sure before i buy...Thanks.

You could almost say its like Dawn of War, but in a WWII setting.
Not alot of focus on basebuilding, and you can reinforce squads so you want to keep them alive.. you capture these map points (different ones brings in different resources) and so on, veichles can have their engines break down, gunners shot off, or go "out of control" which is pretty cool, a runaway tank plowing through brick walls etc..
It is pretty much a RTS tho, a action oriented one.

There is a hefty 1.8Gb demo to try out if you´re curios about it.
If you arent into RTS, it might not be for you tho.
Havent played that game you mention.

Yeah the game I mentioned is like Commandos but wayyy better!

Soldiers Heroes of WWII was a great game. I got it for $7 shipped on eBay last summer and don't regret it one bit.

CoH, however, is a straight RTS with resource management (albeit a bit different due to its territory control scheme) with unit building, grouping, etc.

thats a great deal you got on that game! yes its an amazing game! still fits for todays games!!!

QFT. I was at a best buy this past weekend and almost bought it but decided to see what you guys said.

I bought the complete pack for $12.50 even tho I own the original and first expansion on D2D. I just like have everything in steam now. Its an excellent game if anyone hasn't played it. DX10 and all. Hopefully I'll have the time to play online this time. Also, the beta for Company of Heroes Online just started which is free to play, so I'm wondering if the online community will jump over there or if the games will integrate somehow

Any one of us can die like that. You're driving down a two-lane highway and some intoxicated irresponsible teenager crosses the centerline. Terrible tragedy.

Such a sad story.

The guy swerved the car to take the full blow of the incoming car, sacrificing his life for that of his wife and unborn child.

A true hero in my book.
