Default No resume from suspend: GeForce 9300/nForce 730i

The MB is an ASUS P5N7A-VM, which is a relatively new platform. Kernel is 2.6.27.15-170.2.24.fc10.i686, in a Fedora 10 environment. The driver is Linux-x86-180.29, the latest at the time of the post.

The suspend appears to work. No complaints in the log. However, nothing effects a resume. Presumably the quirks need to be hacked.

Any suggestions on how to go about debugging?

The procedure for diagnosing a hibernate/suspend problem can be found in
the kernel documentation: Documentation/power/basic-pm-debugging.txt

There is no problem with the P5N7A-VM or its Nvidia components. Hibernate
and suspend work fine, running Fedora 10.

The problem I experienced with hibernate/suspend has been traced to a
kernel driver. I have a Rosewill RNX-G1 wireless USB adapter. That device
uses a RTL8187 Wireless LAN Adapter, the driver for which, rtl8187.ko
does not resume properly after suspend or resume. Without the USB
adapter plugged in, all is well running Fedora 10.
