Check pages 2-30 & 2-31 in your manual. It talks about the Q-Fan Support, to allow you to change the CPU fan speed in the BIOS.. That's the only thing I can see that will allow you to reduce the fan speed, from what I can see..

Yes but it makes me choose the voltage to give to my cpu's fan in relation of a temperature range...

The silent qfan tecnology should do it automatically... not manually.

And however the automatic option don't makes my cpu's fan turn slowly, it's always at 3000 throttle.

Enyone can help me to use kubuntu on that computer?

For what i know, the forcedeth driver for the network should be already present into kubuntu's kernel... but it don't find it.

The issue here is the older kernel/drivers that are in older Ubuntu releases. Anyone using an MCP55 chipset based motherboard would be best to run a 2.6.18.x kernel.

Fedora 5 don't find my audio and NETWORK (very important to find all the rest) card...

Why...?

It's cause i'm using the 64 bit versions?

Neither ubuntu 32 bit finds my hardware...

I upgraded from Fedora 5 to 6 and I'm sorry I didn't do it earlier. But 1 out of 4 of my systems had a nVidia 440MX, which is unsupported on the later kernels it uses. Oh well, it looks good sitting on the mantlepiece.
