Default EDID does not work although CRT claims to support it

As stated in topic, I have MSI FX5700-TD128 GFX card and Samsung SyncMaster 959NF. Both these devices are quite now, so I believe they should support EDID/DDC. The biggest issue here is that my /etc/X11/xorg.conf is swarmed with such messages:

### Comment all HorizSync and VertSync values to use DDC:
I'd prefer to get DDC working, but it would be also nice to stop the unnecessary growth of the configuration file. Cheers.
