Default MultiGPU screens limitation

Hello,

I'm going to buy a HDTV LCD TV. I'm quite worried about the MultiGPU's limitation: only 1 display device in MultiGPU mode.
I'd like to know if it is possible to run first X session where LCD panel would be the only screen and another X session with LCD TV as the only screen at once (using 2 different xorg configurations) - all with MultiGPU on.

If it is possible, I could run a game/movie on a different display device without terminating the desktop session...

The MultiGPU & SLI options only support a single display device. If you wish to use multiple display devices, you should use Twinview and/or Xinerama.

See the driver README for more details.

Thanks,
Lonni

I was misunderstood.
I've realized I have my old CRT, tried it and it works.

Description:

X server :0
- MultiGPU enabled
- uses DFP-0 (CRT-0 is off)

X server :1
- MultiGPU enabled
- uses CRT-0 (DFP-0 is off)

My aim was to use both display devices at once but only one per X server.
