Default Twinview and Panning Change from 8776 to 9629

I just upgraded to version 9629 from 8776 and it seems that the behavior of a screen with a panning specification in twinview has changed. I have two monitors, the first at 1600x1200, and the second at 1024x768 with a panning specification of 1024x1200. It used to be that the second screen would only pan if it was the current screen, but now it will pan whether the first or second is current. Is there a way to change this behavior back to the old behavior without downgrading? I did not find anything for how to turn this off in the documentation. The current behavior is rather distracting and unexpected.

Angry I second this - please make this behavior a selectable option

The change in the default panning behavior from only panning the screen the mouse is displayed upon to panning all screens is driving me crazy. I'm going to downgrade back to an older version to get the old behavior.

Please make this behavior a selectable option.
