Default Acrobat Reader 8 released

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

I downloaded and installed it, much faster than Acrobat Reader 7.

Thanks for the heads up. Need to test that with my company's application.

Excellent! What an improvement in speed. Strange how it says it's meant for XP, and Vista beta, since it hasn't been tested on RTM. Works great on RTM Vista here!

I found some bugs with it already.

If you go full screen mode in Acrobat 8, the rendering reverts back to software mode. How can you tell? 2D acceleration mode doesn't anti-alias lines, just text.

If you resize the window, it reverts to software mode. Flipping the 2D accel checkbox toggle doesn't fix it. You have to close/re-open again to get accel working again.
