Please start X with the following command:
startx -- -logverbose 6

and then generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.

Thanks,
Lonni

You didn't start X with the command that I provided. Also, you're not using the glx module that ships with the NVIDIA driver, which suggests that the driver was not correctly installed:

(II) LoadModule: "glx"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so
(II) Module glx: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
compiled for 7.1.1, module version = 1.0.0
ABI class: X.Org Server Extension, version 0.3

I'd suggest installing 1.0-9631, and then following the instructions I provided earlier.

all i did to install the drivers was

yum install kmod-nvidia

that seemed to install it, i saw the nvidia logo on boot up and i could use desktop effects in Fedora Core 6.

ill try getting the stuff install of the website. Is there anyway i can install all the stuff with yum?

Thanks,
Mitchell

i got the installer to go through but i had a few errors. i can launch the config util when in X and it says the right version number.

I attached both logs.

The projector still does not come one.

Please add the following option to the Device section of xorg.conf and restart X:
Option "ModeValidation" "NoHorizSyncCheck"

Also, if you're trying to get a 480p mode, why are you requesting the following non-480p modes in xorg.conf :
Modes "1600x1200" "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

The only 480p mode that I see in the EDID for your DFP is 848x480@60.

Thanks,
Lonni

added that line about the refesh and didnt change anything.

I would like to atleast get a picture to show then I will tackle the 480p res.

The odd thing is before when i would start the computer up the POST tests would show on both monitors. now nothing will ever show up.

more ideas?

Thanks

If nothing is displayed even before the OS loads, then you've got a hardware issue, and you would be best to talk to the hardware vendor(s).

I can't comment on your X issue without seeing a new bug report.

Thanks,
Lonni
