EDIT: Nevermind. I just installed them and its just as bad as it was with 97.02. I wonder why it does this. It was perfectly smooth on my 7900GTX and my 7950GX2.
Strange.. I ran Citadel CTF with 16 bots running around and it was flawless. No stuttering what-so-ever. Does it stutter at lower resolutions for you?

Okay, after going back to the 97.28s and trying the games I mentioned having issues with in the 2nd post (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...92&postcount=2) I've found that Halo is okay with the 97.28s and UberSoldier is okay with the 97.28s. See attachments and compare to those in post #2 (link above).

Also, the lower than expected performance in Star Trek Elite Force II that I saw with the 97.44s is okay with the 97.28s. Edit: It's not actually perfect with the 97.28s. After loading a save point in the low framerate area I was seeing with the 97.44s, I get the same low framerate with the 97.28s but with the 97.28s, I can leave that area and come back and it will be back in the 70s like I expected. Edit 3: After installing the 97.44s again, Star Trek EF2 is still okay so disregard my small note on EF2 in the first post. I'm not sure what is up with it.

Edit 2: Also, I never saw the Oblivion glitch while using the 97.28s but I can go a while without seeing it with the 97.44s so I'm still not sure if there's a difference there or not.

That doesnt suprise me at all, I guess it's back to 97.28 for now then though.

Thief - Deadly Shadows

Will not get more than 24-27 fps at any resolution from 640 x 480 to 1600x1200 (wth or without FSAA)

Test was done at the start of the training mission using Fraps. Tried all the 97.** drivers and doesn't make any difference. I would expect at the very least 60FPS at all times for such an old game.

Oh, and Painkiller has a bug where every enemy looks like they are hanging from string like puppets. Makes it totally unplayable.

Athlon X24400 @2.4ghz
2GB Corsair XMS2 RAM
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Palit 8800GTX
Enermax Noisetaker 600 Watt PSU
4 x 250GB Maxtor SATA HDDs in RAID 5
1 x Western Digital Raptor HDD (Had to remove one to fit 8800 in case!)
Antec P180 Case
Dell 2407 24" TFT

I havent tried it at low resolutions, but I have lowered some settings (including sound) and it didnt make any difference.

It doesnt do it outside so much, but in the flag rooms it jumps and skips constantly when I'm fighting with someone.

Hmm. I played a few rounds while fighting in the flag rooms. The game sorta stutters a bit when new characters respawn or enter the room, but it doesn't do it all the time either.

On another note, I can't seem to enable any level of AA in UT2k4. I've tried both profile and global settings and AA isn't getting enabled. Weird.

For anyone that is having the grass and whatnot in EQ 2 "move too fast", turn on floral displacement under flora. It not only looks better, it fixes this.

UT2004 runs well for me, AA works. Only abnormality I've noted is it defaults kind of bright and the things you shoot to claim bases in Onslaught/Torlan sort of blend into the sky.

It's a known bug. We're waiting for Valve to solve it with a patch.
