Question noob needs driver help mandriva 2007

I am trying to install Graphics drivers for my Geforce 6800 and I keep running into the "no suport for your kernel" error. I have had this issue before with mandrake9.0 but I forgot where to start, If someone could tell me what to do step by step that would be real helpful.

I am currently running Mandriva 2007

I also installed the same drivers on a Ubuntu setup and they worked fine, but I like this distro better.
