Download a file and you can have any custom res you want.
I know all about that it was me who found it, but Ubisoft should add support anyway its a silly thing to leave out of a game.

Any ideas on how to actually disable HDR? Turning it "off" in the options turns of most of it, but not all. Maybe I'm the only person here thinking this, but I really don't find a slight haze/blur to everything as being "good graphics."

If this isn't a possiblity, I definitely won't be buying this game. It still boggles me that people find a slight blur and a bleed of light around everything to be preferable nowadays.

If you disable HDR you get bloom which isn't bad, I just think the lighting doesn't look as good. I like the blur when you turn too quickly...

EDIT: I got a performance boost by setting the game to run in Single Card mode...

That's a matter of opinion really. I find that HDR is vastly overdone to the point of being completely unrealistic and bloom is just plain stupid. The only time that I experience bloom in real life to a degree that it's noticeable is when I sleep with my contact lenses in and they're dried out in the morning... The blur when turning is ridiculous as far as I'm concerned.

I might have to try the single card mode though just for kicks, but I doubt I'll be playing this game at all...

I've come to the conclusion that R6V is better as a console game. My brother bought this yesterday because he isn't a console person, and while he enjoys it, I think the X360 feels more natural, at least for me. When did I realise this? When just for the heck of it, after installing the 1.01 patch, I enabled my X360 controller, and the game felt much better than the mouse/keyboard setup. It certainly is very different than past R6 games, it's very action based with no planning required to tackle a situation. I like it, but I like it more on my 360 than my PC.

Tony.

We'll never have another Raven Shield. It just doesn't appeal to a large enough crowd and with the budget of games these days....

Anyone think the gameplay in this feels alot like Gears of War with extra gadgets? Same type of cover system, same type of health system. Similar Squad commands and squad healing. Plus same game engine as well, if they ever did make a Gears of War on the PC, I bet it would look very similar.

Why would you need a lean function with the cover system? Wouldn't that be kind of redundant and useless?
