guys! how does this game perform ? because last mission was horrible, so many lags(no artifacts). i played 1680x1050,all on max. Most of the time game was fine like 50-60 FPS,but sometimes around 20/

i'm just wondering is this game that heavy?
even 8800GTX can't play it on max.

benchmark results.are they OK?

I have to say the game rocks plain and simple. I have gone back to trying Graw and little things like the "take cover" with a right mouse click seem so intuitive that it was difficult to play these titles without them.

Playing with some friends we had an absolute blast with the Co-Op game...talk about fun. We had zero crashes on 4 vastly different configurations and were amazed at how fast multiplay games were to setup and alter (keep in mind we all had the 1.02 patch).

If you were unsure about this game but like the style of gameplay give the game a shot now that they have released the 1.02 patch. Its a blast.
yep ive decided to give it a try and Gogamer.com has the game for just 27.99 go grab it while you can..

I turned off Trilinear but kept AF high and turned post blur effects off. I am usually 50+ fps but getting drops as low as 35 or so which is still fine for me.

There are quite a few tweaks around but the biggest benefit for me was turning post blur effects off...i personally found them annoying as heck and they strained my eyes unlike HDR on say Oblivion...

Hope that helps.

Anyone with 7x series cards get SLI to work decently with this game?

If so what settings did you use? Seems AFR2 is the way to go so far...

Just createing a new profile for R6 Vegas doesnt allow SLI to scale very well, You have to do one of the 3 things and SLi will scale pretty well.

1. Browse to where you installed R6 Vegas, right click on R6Vegas_Game.exe rename to RelicCOH.exe, right click on your renamed exe and send a shortcut to your desktop (use it to start your game) Load up the existing Company of Heroes profile and play. Make sure your not renameing R6Vegas_Launcher.exe instead of R6Vegas_Game.exe.

2. Use Nhancer to create a new profile for R6 Vegas use the SLi value 2400001.

3. Browse to your Windows directory, system32, find nvapps.xml, right click open with notepad
search nvapps.xml for Unreal Engine 3

Unreal Engine 3
Quote:
Itemtype="predefined"/>
</PROFILE>
<PROFILE Label="Unreal Engine 3">
<APPLICATION Label="Unreal.exe"/>
<APPLICATION Label="DemoGame.exe"/>
<APPLICATION Label="WarGame.exe"/>
<PROPERTY Label="multichip_rendering_mode" Value="2400001" Itemtype="predefined"/>
Change the Unreal Engine 3 profile to:
Quote:
Itemtype="predefined"/>
</PROFILE>
<PROFILE Label="Rainbow Six: Vegas">
<APPLICATION Label="R6Vegas_Game.exe"/>
<PROPERTY Label="multichip_rendering_mode" Value="2400001" Itemtype="predefined"/>
Anyone of these 3 tweaks will show the same performance gains in SLi. Check my post here for some screenshots.
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...&postcount=222

And here a a couple more useing the edited Unreal 3 profile.
1600x1200 Max in game settings.

1.Single GPU 24.2 FPS_2.SLi 46.3 FPS

cool tnx!

as for the renaming of the exe file to get SLI to work.
do you get a prefromance boost even with a single card?

if you enabled "optimized for SLI" in COD2 you did get a higher FPS even with a single GPU.
wonder if its the same here?

Wow! the graphics IS impressive.
looks super and runs smooth.

no wonder that the game runs great.
this is the first game that i see that uses both Cores for the CPU.
not 100% but its close.
so congrats UBI Soft that you take advance of dual core CPUs.
this is the future!

So, did you try renaming the executable to see how that goes with a single-gpu?

with that graphics card you should get better performance.
i have a 7900GTX and a AMDX2 2.9GHz and the game never drops below 40FPS
thats with 1280*960 and shadows set to LOW (i see no diffrence setting them to high only that the FPS goes down.)

posting some screens from 1280*960 down scaled to 800*600
the graphics is damn nice!,just like the screens from Crysis..well almost not far behind

OWA: i see no diffrence in performance
