I bet less than 2% of Wii owners will take advantage of it. I know I won't. My wrist strap works perfectly fine becasue I'm not flailing around like a jackass.

It's no more of a recall than MS extending their 360 warranty for people who have one manufactured before Jan, or when Sony had to offer to repair PS2's after losing a class action lawsuit (stupid DREs).

Never said anything of the sort so stop being an idiot... You posted a comment that said that there is no recall but clearly they are willing to replace 3.2 million straps... so if its not a recall then its a warrenty exchange...

I love how Nintendo can do no wrong, They advertise there console as a system you can play by being fully active but when people start doing exaggerated movements like in the commericials and end up getting hurt, its their fault.

Anyone else rememeber E3 when they were playing Tennis by running around on stage and making large swing animations....

As I see it none of the problems I've read about have been caused by the Wiimote. It is all human error! I applaud Nintendo for trying to address this issue.

Of course it is, Im not trying to imply that the Wii is punching people in the face or that its causing the injuries, what I think is the problem is that Nintendos advertisments have people playing the Wii using exaggerated movements so people try to play like that and end up getting hurt because unlike the commericials that aren't really playing the game, they are and when they get too caught up into it they stop being careful and start flaying around like idiots.

It's like the car commericials... they have a SVU climbing rocks or a family car racing at high speeds on a mountain track... it makes people think that its possible... remember most people in todays age are pretty gullible because their are ****ing retards.
