Please start X with the following command:
startx -- -logverbose 6

and then generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.

Thanks,
Lonni

Why are you setting this option?
(**) NVIDIA(0): Option "UseEdidFreqs" "FALSE"

That options is causing all modes to fail validation.

im put option "UseEdidFreqs" "False" in device section, like this:
Quote:
Section "Device"
BoardName "GeForce 6600"
BusID "1:0:0"
# Driver "nv"
Driver "nvidia"
Identifier "Device[0]"
VendorName "NVidia"
Option "UseEDIDfreqs" "False"
EndSection

Exactly, that looks like the problem. Why are you using that option, and does the problem persist if you aren't using it?

That option isn't going to fix the problem you're reporting. If this problem persists without that option, please post a new bug report.

Thanks,
Lonni

Does adding the following option to the Device section of xorg.conf help?
Option "ExactModeTimingsDVI" "true"
