@BurntRam:

Your problem is that the task bar at the bottom covers part of the windows. You should be able to change that by right clicking the task bar and selecting "Properties" and Change the setting "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows". You might have to change it twice and press Apply after each change, sometimes Windows gets confused with this setting.

But it would be more prudent to actually use the resolution of your monitor. If you don't want to lose the large text fonts, you can still enlarge them even with a higher resolution. There's an "Adjust Font Size (DPI)" setting in your advanced Display properties for this.

the keep the taskbar option on top was already selected. i even tried redoing it a couple times, but it still chops the window off.

i have been running @ 1024 for years now and never had this issue untill the newer forceware drivers came out? why didnt it chop off windows in the past @ 1024? weird. i just wish i could figure it out, as i dont want to run at a higher rez. never had to before

Since there was no 64bit driver available before today, I didn't have the chance to check out the new 17x drivers. Which options aren't working exactly?

I don't get the SLI tab anymore. Everything else seems to look okay with 174.12 Vista x64/7950 GX2. Maybe it's just the way nHancer checks for multi-GPU operation. My GX2 is running in multi GPU configuration, since my benches with Crysis have actually improved a bit with this driver, over 169.28.

I don't have SLi, but I have SLI value visible, since i want to see all profiles in case i want to change anything. In certain games SLI values don't show up. Values are in the nvapps file, but nhancer doesn't see to be able to pick them out.

You can edit the file nHancer.exe.config to force the SLI mode. The instructions are within the file.

Default Re: nHancer feedback thread

I had planned to release the new version of nHancer together with the new website design.

Unfortunately, this will take some more time to be finished. So I decided to release the current version as a new beta. You can download it here:

32Bit: www.nhancer.com/downloads/nHancer32_2.4.0_5_Setup.exe
64Bit: www.nhancer.com/downloads/nHancer64_2.4.0_5_Setup.exe

Here’s a short summary of all major the changes since 2.3.x:
  • New logo, icons and “about window” designed by Eberhard Klauke. Thank you very much, Eberhard!
  • Added new SLI modes (Bloom, 3-way and for DX10 exclusively: 4-way)
  • Support of all the latest cards up to the 9600 GT
  • Added OpenGL multi monitor options
  • All new profile management, which allows to override all options in nVidia’s predefined profiles, including AA and AF prevention.
  • Profiles can now be reverted to their original state as they were predefined by nVidia.
  • New “Shadow-Profiles”, which are replacing (overshadowing) predefined profiles automatically, if the user changes a predefined option.
  • The nHancer service is now optional. nHancer runs without the service, but only if started with administrator rights. The installer has the option to install nHancer without the service.
  • Added a text search box to find a profile. Just type away and nHancer will show only profiles matching the entered text.
  • Added a new profile type filter. Click on the filter icon to see all filter options.
  • Several new Anti-Aliasing modes: 8xSQ, 2xQ, 4x9tap
More details about the changes are listed in the enclosed readme file as always.

Additionally, the nHancer forum is online again. I’ve replaced the forum software. This was meant for the restart of the website as well, but you can take a look if you want.
