"symbol noPanoramiXtension from module /usr/X11/lib/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.o undefined"

when trying to start X.

any ideas?

I'd rather know if there is any advantage on having XFree 4.3.0 over 4.2.0
AFAIK, the new XFree provides enhanced support on ATI cards, only.

Perhaps I'm wrong?
Use the source, Tux.
