Default Messed up colors on GeForce2 MX 400 PCI/DVI

When using driver version 9631, something horrible happens to the colors driven by my GeForce2 MX 400 PCI card. I'm using the DVI port. It appears to map all colors to a palate of about 4 poorly contrasting (and rather ugly) colors. This happens at all depth settings (8, 16, and 24) and appears to be independent of resolution as well. This card is the second card in the system, but I get the same results if I disable the other card in xorg.conf.

This particular problem doesn't exist in 8762 or earlier. I haven't been able to try any of the driver versions in between 8762 and 9631.

Bug report attached.

Thanks,

-- Mike

This is a known bug which will be resolved in a future driver release.

Thanks,
Lonni

This was fixed in 1.0-9631.

I'm also having this problem with 1.0-9631 (and 1.0-9629). 1.0-7184 legacy colors are fine (as are the colors with the xorg driver).

I have a single GeForce3 agp card using DVI out, with a DVI->HDMI cable going to a plasma screen.

I've tried disabling EDID and many res/freq settings, no luck.

gurehamu,
The issue discussed in this thread was specific to NV20 GPUs. Unless you have an NV20, I'd suggest creating a new thread with a bug report.

Thanks,
Lonni
