m3dude, the AA doesn't really play that much matter. When i took those pics, the graphics was already stunning. So there is no real need to make them 5000+ resolution and downsize. Crysis will still be the best looking game out there.

Asus, i suffer the same things.. If you mess arond too much with the editor there is no restore default settings option or reinstalling both crysis and the editor wont help either. Only thing that helps is reinstalling windows, so you get a fresh and clean register or w/e lol. I know it suxx

Edit; this is the result of throwing a fragmentation grenade beside a heavy truck;

It doesn't force you to, but it seem like the only option if you want a working SDK after you mess up the settings or w/e and you dont know how to fix it... One thing u can do, is to make a ghost backup using norton ghost and create a full system restore point, then u can mess how much you want. And if something doesn't work as its supposed anymore and u cant seem to find a way to fix that, then just restore it Violá!, its like saving and loading in crysis... as simple as that

it isnt just the aa effects, it makes everything look considerably better. it adds loads of AF to distant textures, it cleans up all artifacts, adds aa to every surface, makes the tetxures look higher res, makes the shaders look better, makes lod look less pronounced.

Downsizing a pic does not ad AF and AA along with making the shaders and Textures look better.

Please explain to us all how it adds AA and AF? lol thats the most obsured thing I have ever heard.

Hes kinda right...It will look better, but it wont add AA and AF, it will make everything more detailed, but if you have jagged edges when taking the pic, those will be alot less visable when downsizing... So it will look like you have real 16QSuperSampleAA on everything including vegitation.

Here is a comparision between "normal" and "downsized from 6400x4800";

Normal: http://aycu25.webshots.com/image/350...8127355_rs.jpg
nownsized: http://aycu28.webshots.com/image/343...2932289_rs.jpg

Normal: http://aycu22.webshots.com/image/358...3174421_rs.jpg
downsized: http://aycu22.webshots.com/image/358...7145383_rs.jpg

As you can see there is big difference on the AA side...

Yeah I wasnt disagreeing with the fact that it doesnt make it look better because it obviously does.

I was just laughing at him saying that it adds AA and AF.
