Hi,
After an install with NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9631-pkg1.run the resolution has been reduced from 1920x1440 to 1400x1050. I uninstalled the driver and attemped a re-install using NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run, but it came back saying that it could not confirm the version of the kernel source. I then uninstalled the kernel-devel rpm and reinstalled but it came back with the same complaint. Using the --kernel-source-path produced the same. Using the livna nvidia-legacy kernel module or the nvidia kernel module (nvidia-kmod-1.0.8776-1.2.6.18_1.2257.fc5.src.rpm) has similar results - both these installs (and uninstalls) preceeded the 1.0-9631 install. I am attaching the 1.0-9631 zipped nvidia-bug-report.sh and nvdia-installer.log. Thanks for your time. |

Please start X with the following command:
startx -- -logverbose 6 and then generate a new bug report. Thanks, Lonni |

According to the X log you attached, 1920x1200 is the native mode, not 1920x1440.

I altered the xorg.conf from 1920x1440 to 1920x1200 and all is well.
Many Thanks |
