I'm seeing exactly the same issue, hoping for a fix soon after wasting all that money on an awesome graphics card, which does everything except what I need.

this is fixed in the 97.55 driver release

When you say "this is fixed", are you talking about xv, or both XvMC and xv?

With 9755 and an 8800GTS, I can get mythtv to work with xv, but "Standard XvMC" gives me this:

yea I meant Xv - I get the same as you when trying standard XvMC

Thank goodness for that - but did you notice that XvMC is still not supported? C'mon NVidia, this is the 5th top-end card I've bought from you and I'm sure lots of others would like to see XvMC working (and in addition PureVideo- like acceleration of codecs other than mpeg2).
