Anyways, As much as I love hearing the weekly/monthly numbers on the sales between them...we got a while to go before anybody is the clear winner.
Heh, if you take a look at that Amazon.com tracker Blu-ray is doing more than "just catching up." Two movies currently in the top 100 and Casino Royale is at #29 right now. They admitted their launch was rushed but seem to be making up for it with a great line up for the beginning of this year.

One is the clear winner in audio/visual/features. Unfortunately that doesn't always equate to the winner in sales because the public is stupid.

Funny considering Casino Royale doesnt come out for atleast another month (march 13th IIRC), and already the most wanted HD movie including both blu-ray/hd-dvd.

True, though some could argue in audio and video... blu-ray seems to be catching up with tons more quality releases, but I agree on features.. blu-ray is behind in that regard until they get their menu system to match HD-DVD (who knows when that will be).

I wouldnt say the public is stupid though (atleast not all ). I'd say the public wants the content. At the end of the day, content is king and the rest is secondary. Whats the point of those things when you can't have them on the movies you want? Recently I've seen many posts on AVS where hd-dvd owners have switched to blu-ray, not for audio/video quality, but for content alone. Which makes sense imho.
