Default PS1 games

So lately I've been snatching up a few older PS1 games I missed on eBay. Gotten a few of the more popular ones first, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy 7, and I think that should about do it for RPGs. I already have Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes on the GC, so I really don't care about Metal Gear Solid on the PS. Anybody have any other suggestions for games that have aged well? Resident Evil is pretty much out due to its horrible controls which RE4 laid bare only too clearly. I don't see a lot of point to older racing games either.

Tenchu series (well ok maybe not the whole series, but the first 2 definitely) are always good. Castlevania Symphony of the Night is a MUST BUY... that game owns. That is all I can think of currently... I know there are more but I am half asleep.

Don't forget about Chrono Cross, it's the sequel to Chrono Trigger, it came out late in the ps1's life. So late it got overlooked by way too many people. Aside from Final Fantasy 7, it's the best rpg the system has to offer.

And as far as racing games go, Wipeout 3 is hands down the best racing game i've ever played. It still holds up today. Good luck finding a copy, but damn is it worth it.

WoW, Whats wrong with you... XL was running at a constant 60FPS with awsome effects and the best music of the series...

I didn't think the PS2 version was that bad, not nearly as bad as the N64 version. The PSP version ROCKS, it feels so much like XL.
