Default Wrong behaviour when cable connected, but display disabled (v.9631)

Good day!

I have GeForce 4 Ti 4200 VIVO (Philips 7108A tv encoder) card.
If I loading when my s-video cable is not plugged to videocard - than canvas is pure, all works fine.
If load linux when cable is connected than canvas looks bad: color depth seems low, refresh rate seems low too.
---------------------------------
If you 1. try to load linux while cable is not connected (canvas is pure)
2. Plug-in cable to card (pure)
3. Press detect display at nvidia-setting-->TV-0 detected (pure)
4. Configure (TV-0)-->TwinView (dust on general monitor, but all works fine on TV)
5. Configure (TV-0)-->Disabled (is still dust on general monitor. color depth still seems low, as refresh rate seems low too)

I wish on step 4 looking TV, so its normal if general monitor shows canvas worse than commonly.
But i wish to work with my general monitor on step 5, when I disable TV.
----------------------------------
PROBLEM

Connected TV disabled, but canvas in noise and dust.
----------------------------------
At windows when you connect TV - than behaviour looks like at linux,
but when you mark connected TV as unplugged - then noise disappeared and canvas is backing to normal.

I want behaviour like at windows

On this screen showed some bad effects when cable connected (but TV disabled (if click Display Configuration - than TV-0 status disabled)).

If cable not connected than TV-0 node under GPU 0 branch not displayed and screen looks fine.

How to force to not detect or just really disable TV-0 if it unneeded and how to force it back if needed.
Maybe you can advice some workarounds except plug/unplug cable on each boot when I need to enable/disable TV?

If you don't wish to use the TV, you could set IgnoreDisplayDevice to TV in xorg.conf. See the driver README for more details.

Thanks,
Lonni

Thanks, netllama.
Option IgnoreDisplayDevice is really disable TV from nvidia-settings (TV is not detected), however screen is still looks as in low color.

Interesting, that even setting device driver as "nv" didnt help.
Looks like that I need to disable my chipset (Philips 7108a) to enforce undetect of my s-video cable even if its connected to my videocard.

Can anybody advice me how to solve my problem?
I cant work at linux if cable connected.
Maybe anyone knows any NVIDIA or ATI AGP videocard with s-video tv-out which works normal at linux when s-video cable connected to videocard and its possible to use TV as second monitor when its needed.

If set low screen resolution (e.g. 800x600) screen seems better, than 1280x1024 (no "shadows" from windows, color bitrate seems normal), but sometimes you can see vibration line and low resolution cannot be applicable as workaround.
