Unhappy 3d doesn't work after resume on FC5

With the nvidia 1.0-9746 drivers loaded, suspend/resume on FC5 gives a blank screen. I was able to get around this by commenting "vbetool post" out of the /etc/pm/funcitons-nvidia file, now the computer resumes and I have my display and network back. The problem is that once I resume, 3d video no longer works. I start up glxgears and I get a black window, but I get normal output on the command line.

If I shut down X and restart it, I get 3d video again- glxgears runs fine, just as it did before I suspended. At least i don't have to shut down the machine, but I do have to close any applications I had open on my desktop which is a pain.

I tried setting the agp driver to NvAGP and confirmed via proc that it was loaded, but that made no difference. Please help!
