The DQ6 is even better with much more feature and options, correct? That's what I heard/was told. Not sure how true it is.

I wonder if the lastest P25 BIOS version keeps the motherboard from frying the memory.. lol. It did say there were "memory improvements".. whatever those are.

I never seen that much improvement of running my ram at 1200 verus 800 and being 1:1 ratio, plus I don,t have any problem with SATA errors when running at 800 as I did when running at 1200,but the 680i SLi is the most stable board I have with my core 2 Duo,the only thing I would like to see is the 680i SLI be able to run over 2000 on the CPU.

I'm using the P25 bios. It runs my Memory, which is the same as yours fine at 1200mhz.

How long have you been running it at 1200 and at what voltage? I only ran mine at 1111MHz at 2.2v and the first set fried in 2 weeks. Then the 2nd set on an RMA'ed motherboard fried after 30 days

Damn that's bad luck. I have mine at 2.4 volts. I've been running at that since i updated to the P24 and then the P25, probably around 2 months now.

Interesting. I run my Crucial Ballistix DDR2 at 2.3V, 4-3-3-6, 2t at 1066 FSB, 24x7 since I built the system in November. It has been solid.

Yeah.

It's strange to see who can run stable w/o a 1:1 ratio and who can't. I tried everything on mine--even cranking the voltage to 1.65 at one point and it still wouldn't stop from freezing up on me.

Since running a 1:1 ratio, it has yet to freeze up once in over a week now.

this crap was the deal breaker for me as well. I've read too many 680i horror stories to count.

650i FTW I guess.
