Firstly I tried installing the Nvidia Driver manually following the steps from some forums. After I installed it, Ubuntu was getting stuck at the login window or after it logged in ,so I installed Ubuntu again a couple of times because of that.
Now I installed the driver using Automatix2 and it is getting stuck when I start a lot of applications, in some cases it is getting stuck just some times ( when I start the Terminal, in Firefox ) and in other cases it is getting stuck every time ( when I start a movie with Totem or when I start a lot of applications ). When It is stuck the keyboard isn't active and the cursor is moving but nothing is accessible - it's just a static image. I observed that the sound is still working because I was listening music in Totem before Ubuntu became unresponsive and the music was still playing. I didn't edited the xorg.conf: Quote:
