and i can't find a complete list of graphic chip working properly with beryl
someone knows if i can install linux driver, xgl and beryl on my computer?
Tnx everyone.

I'm not using a 3d-desktop (compiz,...) but I'm playing 3d games.
And the latest nvidea driver is supporting the geforce 6150 and the go (laptop) version.

I have tried Kubuntu 6.06 and 6.10 both 32bit and 64bit and they all hang when trying to load the kernel.

I've just installed Ubuntu Edgy Eft on my HP laptop with the same chipset. Using the instructions in this link it's now running fine.

It will be

Did you run nvidia-xconfig first before rebooting? Does pressing [ctrl] [alt] [backspace] restart the X server?

You should also install the ssh package before you install the nvidia driver so if the screen is black you can connect from another computer to view the X log in /var/log/Xorg.0.log
