If you keep defending yourself or don't like to hear people's opinions about you returning your 360... then you shouldn't have made a thread to begin with.

Have fun with your PC gaming.

it works now, well i'm quite sure you can't buy it still, there was simular adapter on Xbox, and MS started baning people, MS didn't support that adater, i believe same will happen with this new one, people playing with controllers will be getting slaughters by people with the adapter, complains will start to fly, and thats will be the end of the story
That is incredibly stupid though. Microsoft should just make an official keyboard/mouse plugin and if they are that concerned about fair play, force people who use that to play in separate games or something.

They already do have such a detection system AFAIK - each controller made for the xbox 360 must respond to an authentication mechanism or else it gets rejected from what I have been told. They can use this to determine what kind of controller is plugged in. Bypassing this should be as hard if not harder than running unsigned code on the xbox 360.

Don't open the package.. Go to your local blockbuster or whatever and rent a 360 and the game. Or try to find a EB where they have it set as a playable demo.

As all things go, Gears of War was designed to be played on the console and with a gamepad, playing with a keyboard and mouse would really retract from the gameplay. Halo2 and GRAW on the other hand play alot better on the PC than the xbox.

However I woulden't buy any console just for one game.

thats where i made my mistake, if forza 2 is the best racing game ever made(i doubt it), i might make that same "mistake" twice.

but this time, i will need to spend more time playing the actual game, then just doing some quick races.

I played Halo 1 for the PC, and I liked how the console version played better.

I didn't but the controls and the design of the game is pretty much exactly like Halo1. They both play very much like each other, while GoW makes the sticking to objects and cover the pivotal aspect of the game.
