The Orange Box seems like a good deal at first...but from the sound of it, it doesn't include CS:S, and I wouldn't count on it having HL2: DM or HLDM:S. It really seems like they're mixing up their content too much, different packages including different things, and meanwhile forcing you to buy other things in a bundle. Of course if they do release them separately on Steam, they'd probably each be $20...

I'll wait until the Black Box goes down a bit in price before I pick it up probably (since I already own HL2 and Episode 1). Episode 1 wasn't bad for $8, but I wouldn't pay much more than that for an episode alone, and TF2/Portal aren't enough for me to go for the $40 price tag. They'll probably come out with some Gold Box version later anyway which includes HL2, Ep1, Ep2, TF2, Portal, CS:S, DoD:S, HL:S, and HLDM:S.

In your opinion, many people (the millions that purchased Halo) would say otherwise.

I agree with Magus... wow thats scary it happened again... just because you don't like it, doesn't mean many people can make it work and have fun with it.

I bet the only reason 60% of the people buying Ep2 is because of TFC2!

I really want to play TFC2 but I want to play EP2 more... the huge levels look soo awsome! No more city maps!

But yeah... TFC2 makes me touch myself...

Can't wait for this. I loved Episode 1 and I've been waiting for TF2 for like 7 years. Portals looks awesome too.

I'll gladly pay $40 for that package.

Episode 1 - VERY VERY SHORT,no vehicles,No new enemies,rubbish low res textures,IS THAT IT?
+ A better gravity gun...

episode 1 was a complete rip off at any price except free. I wouldn't have minded if they re-used hl2 areas to tell more story ,at least it would have fleshed it out a bit. I will buy ep3 if I find it in a bargain bin ,or at a car boot sale (like I did with hl2).

Guys you might consider it expensive for US standards, but for us Europeans, its not. Especially for Cyprus. 20USD is about 8 CYP. Now take into consideration that E1 is sold for 15-25CYP here. That's double to triple the 20USD. For me, it was well worth the money, it was cheap as well.

Tony.

Hmm, maybe I'll get a console version of this. I can't really play HL2 on the PC since it makes me sick but sitting back several feet from the screen should help that I'd think. The only problem I see with that is that I have a hard time controlling games like that with a gamepad.
