Default Open ACPI failed

I've a strange error in my Xorg.0.log

Code:
(WW) Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (Connection refused)
(II) 3rd Button detected: disabling emulate3Button
(WW) Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (Connection refused)
this is repeated many many times... what should it be?

Why would this have anything to do with Nvidia?

Still, not everything in the Xorg.log is NVIDIA related. I would suggest you consult the forums dedicated to your distro.

It's not that bug... I see the log....

I think it's because I disabled the ACPI...

Ok it's related to acpid.... I don't want acpid because I'm on a desktop PC with any use of ACPI... tell me if I'm wrong, but if I read /proc/acpi there's anything interesting

Disabling acpid I can see that message in my Xorg.0.log
How can I tell nvidia module NOT asking for acpi?

marchetto,
It's not the nvidia module that's trying to connect to acpid, but the X server. You should try your distribution's support forums or mailing lists.
