My best with the Freezone:

3Dmark06 19160 - 3.85 GHz

And, on a PC I built for another, they were able to get their E6600 to 4.0 GHz with the Freezone from TiKiMaN.
WOW! That's amazing.... I am unable to hit 3.7Ghz stable with evga 680i and a X6800.

I read your other post about how expensive it was to pay for shipping, well if you have U.S. military collogues maybe it can be shipped to them VIA APO. The cost should be significantly less. Just an idea.

Just popped in my new NF68 rev and still get the same results in OC'ing. Must be my early stepping Q6600 (unlocked multi FTW!) or PSU or something. Oh well, 2933 isn't too bad.

Very stable so far and temps are fine also, at least for the QX6700 Idle is around 53C (58-62C with Core Temp). Load under 65C (70-75C with Core Temp). That's with the Zalman 9700 at 2300 RPM.

I'm very happy with the system now, except some strange noise from the vreg. I already contacted EVGA to get a replacement.
slaWter, so right now you are running your QX6700 with a Zalman 9700 at 3.00GHz and seeing temps up to 75C under load? I'm thinking of getting a QX6700 or 6800 CPU but aren't those temps pretty high?

slaWter, do you see better performance with 9x333 = 3GHz rather than 12x266 =3.2GHz? (Just wondering/curious about your choice to up the FSB to 333 rather than bump the multiplier more)

I don't know which is the better/faster setting.

I recently got the new 680i revision so I tried 333MHz and it worked without problems, that's way I'm using it... I don't have time to tweak around these days...

I think that 10x333 would be stable, because even 266x13 was stable.
Cool. No problem. This week has been busy here myself. I'm fairly close to ordering the QX6700 but I'm waiting to see how those new Quad core air coolers do. (Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and IFX-14)

But 75C is the Core Temp value. The overall temp is around 65C during gaming. So it's around the max temp Intel recommends.
Unfortunately, my Freezone is defective. Perhaps I'll use my old watercooling setup again to lower the temps a bit or increase the clock speed.

How many case fans do you have installed in your CM Stacker 830? (I am using a zalman 9500 and I really want to get the QX6700 or QX6800)

BTW, I RMAed the freezone. The new unit worked for 4 days then it died........ I was so pissed.............. I threw it in the trash. I will NEVER spend another dime on their products!!!

slaWter, those temps with your H20 might be about the same as the Thermaltake Ultra 120 Extreme. Very interesting.

I am running Q6600 at 1.400V at 3.240 MHz.. Could do probably much more with 1.500V VCore, but have no need to push it more, even now most of the time all my CPUs just sit idle (running at 6x360 = 2160MHz on SpeedStep)

With Thermalright XP-120 the temp does not go above 68C with 4x100% usage.
