Default window resizing in compiz slugish

I am using FC6 with the 9746 driver on an 8800 GTS, and everything works great. The only thing I notice thats odd, is that window resizing is sluggish with compiz. Anyone else notice this?

Thanks

I have several questions:
0) Is this for any window for any application, or only specific applications and/or windows?
1) By sluggish, you mean that it takes time to actually resize the window, or that the content of the window takes time to redraw?
2) Which window manager are you using?
3) Is this problem specific to Compiz?

Please generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.

Thanks,
Lonni

Resizing windows with a composite manager is slow because X has to copy the contents of the window's old backing pixmap to the new one. You can try to improve things by using "nvidia-settings -a InitialPixmapPlacement=2", but it's never going to be as fast as non-Composite resizing.
